Juvenile Offenses

An accusation that a person has committed a crime, and the accompanying criminal charge, can be a terrifying and expensive experience for an adult. This is exponentially more so when a person’s child has been accused of and charged with a crime. Although the theory of the Oklahoma Juvenile Code is that children are different from adults and can be expected to make mistakes that shouldn’t condemn them to lifelong penalties, in practice it can operate like criminal law for kids. It also is true that even children can be falsely accused of a crime or charged when they should not have been. If your child has been arrested or charged with an offense, contact us to discuss how we can help.
